Curriculum Vitae is a project driven by the desire to explore the coexistence of dance, music, song and words and to think them together. The idea of encounters between artistic disciplines, performers, historical or cultural contexts and narratives, languages and audiences is part of the dramaturgical structure of the piece. This work intends to attempt to capture the course of time and its various perceptions through curricula vitae.

As part of the 55+ Movers programme, L. Omer was invited to experiment around Curriculum Vitae with interested senior citizens.

This takes the form of artistic and participatory labs, especially with senior or intergenerational groups, the "Bridging the Arts" labs.

The new creation, Curriculum Vitae, is accompanied by research work with the audience. This takes the form of artistic and participatory labs, especially with senior or intergenerational groups, the "Bridging the Arts" labs.

In 2019, Austrian curator Andrea Amort commissioned Loulou Omer to create a short dance piece about Gertrud Kraus, a choreographer of the Viennese avant-garde who fled the Nazi regime. The special thing about this interwar dance figure is that it is part of her family history.

It takes the form of a reenactment: Fast ein Wunder - Reenacting Gertrud Kraus (15 min).

In 2016, Loulou Omer worked as an associated artist with the visual artist Simon Wachsmuth to explore two other dance figures from the same era, Dita and Gertie Tenger, whose grandson is S. Wachsmuth. This collaboration resulted in the screen dance installation Qing. A little later, Loulou Omer was invited by Andrea Amort to create a short piece about Gertrud Kraus.

Together they decided to create an evening centred around these avant-garde figures: The Art of Memory (Qing / Almost a Miracle / Performed Exchange with the Audience).

In 2023, Loulou Omer decides to restage/choreograph Almost a Miracle in an extended and longer version. Au hasard la mémoire is expected in 2024.
